Hrithik Roshan- HRX

Hrithik has joined the force by launching his brand called HRX, which is displayed only in Myntra.com. We have seen him in a lot of movies and there has always been a talk about his tremendous fashion sense in B-Town. The success in his first brand made him to launch HRX signature which mainly focuses the urban youth. They are working hard to make vibrant colors available through both online and offline channels.
Amitabh Bachchan – Ziddu

Ziddu is a cloud-storage and sharing solutions startup based in Singapore. Big B initially invested $2.50 lakhs. In just a month, the company gathered 1.2 billion page views and 300 million page visitors.
Ajay Devgan – ticketplease.com

The startup was launched in 2011 and it’s a one stop portal for every online booking, be it for movies, concerts, sports or any other street play events. Ticketplease.com was officially announced at the promotional event of “Jatt Yamla Pagla Deewana” which helped the startup to add some bolly glam! The growth was hard because Indian people were already so much into online bookings. But Mr. Devgan believed that there is always enough room for more.

Sallu Bhai is a pro at minting crores of rupees in his movies. He has 5% stake in the startup which is upended with his spending on their marketing campaign. Also, we are already familiar with his famous retail brand BEING HUMAN which has gained popularity among the youth of the country.

This pretty lady has launched the project in 2011. It came as a surprise to everyone that this Bollywood diva is up to some investments in helping people find properties at discounted prices along with hubby Raj Kundra. Users join a group for a specific property and when the numbers touch a minimum required ceiling, the site allows to make purchases at discounted rates. And I think that’s a sign of better investment.

We have last seen Dino Morea in Pyaar Impossible as Varun Sanghvi. But recently he got involved into investing all his money in a startup up venture. Coolmaal.com is a site selling all kinds of cool merchandises used for promotion purposes. But currently, the site is under oblivion and is expected to shut down soon.
Madhuri Dixit- dance with Madhuri

One of the strongest women in B-Town, Madhuri Dixit is much more concerned with the health of her wide audience. Her main focus is to make people fit with the combination of dance and exercise. Dance has become an important to-do event in many teenager’s search history. In this era of junk food, they tend to google dance exercises for getting a perfect beach body.

The founder of the label crop, Preeta Sukhtankar aims to build India’s first editorial e-commerce brand starring celebrities. Her startup is diversified into three segments – the trunk label (BipashaBasu), the closet label (Malaika Arora Khan) and the home label (Suzzane Khan).
Shekhar Kapur and A.R. Rehman- Qyuki Digital Media Pvt. Ltd.

These two artists are highly creative. They have launched a startup in late 2012 for enhancing youth participation by showcasing new media content and searching for fresh talents. Cisco was the initial investor of the startup. This proves to be a great platform for youngsters who are looking for a break.
Karishma Kapoor- BabyOye.com

Karishma Kapoor is quite determined in not just embracing her aging with grace but also helping citizens in their parental journey. She got very impressed by this online mom and child brand after her own experience and now holds a massive 26% stake in the startup. Babyoye is a one-stop segment aiding every Indian parent.
Neha Dhupia – HairStyle

This fashionista has launched her own online retail store in 2012. This startup contains clothing items from global brands, all kinds of accessories, footwear and nightwear. But the startup didn’t go as expected and has crashed heavily and hence had to scrap down.
We are often shocked and even overwhelmed by the amount of money the celebrities make. But their contribution in new ideas which hold the potential to take this generation to a new level is heartening indeed!
