The answer is undoubtedly, No. It’s time for you to search for the “right” incubator and accelerator that will reduce the risk of failure. A bad choice is perilous in this case.
You must be certain as to when do you require incubators and when should you approach accelerators, and the kind of services provided by both of them.
Distinction between Incubators and Accelerators
The primary aim of incubators, as well as accelerators is to aid startups and help them develop and evolve in the field of entrepreneurship; there are numerous crucial points that distinguish the two. In the initial stage, you require basic business services like office space, infrastructure and expanding your network, which is provided by incubators.
And accelerators, the name is self-explanatory. They are required to speed up your business in the later or last stages generally. They offer services like mentoring, fundraising, strategic consulting, etc.
The government backs a large number of incubators, and there are many private players too, whereas accelerators are mostly supported by angel investors or VC firms. While incubators help in setting up the business, accelerators help in expanding the business.
